Considering the rarity of any J. B. Warner material it is a real
pleasure to find a beautiful complete print of one of his films.
Warner died in 1924 and the few pieces of his work that survive have
all been really excellent examples of the genre. Behind Two Guns is
no exception it is a delightful lighthearted western comedy. Carter
(Warner) and his partner Slowfoot (Calles) are on the trail of a
mysterious stage robber who can make funds disappear while the stage
is en route (a Svengali of the old west).
