| Money received will be placed in a special fund and used to obtain, preserve and offer to
film fans a chance to see some of the rarest of the surviving films
from the silent era. In 2007 we have obtained 11 rare silent
features and more than 2 dozen silent shorts. These are being
transferred, restored, and music scored in preparation for release.
