A girl raised on a lonely isle meets and falls in love with a
wealthy young man. The fantastically interesting underwater fantasy
dance sequence is done in beautiful two color tints and tones. The
rest of the film was tinted an toned throughout with single colors.
Annette Kellerman's last film, and the only work of the champion
Olympic swimmer known to exist in complete form. Transferred from
35mm.

Included in this release is the surviving footage
from "NEPTUNE'S DAUGHTER" (1914) with Annette Kellerman. The
daughter of King Neptune determines to avenge the death of her
sister, who was caught in a fishing net laid by the king of a
country above the waves. However, she soon falls in love with the
king upon whom she planned to take her revenge.
