Rinty, as a pup, is lost while being transported across Alaska and is adopted by a wolf pack. As a grown “wolf-dog” Rinty rescues McGrail who has been waylaid while carrying furs across Canada and abandoned for dead. We believe this to be the earliest of the Rin-Tin-Tin films to survive.
