When the local trucking company doubles their prices for transporting cattle its up to Roy Rogers and pals to find a way out for the cattleman. With a plan to use the river to move their cattle they need a boat and try to make a deal with an eccentric steamboat owner who is, unfortunately, utterly fearful of everything to do with the Wild West.
